TRAINING

SOCIAL_CARD_Training.jpg

Given the ongoing challenge of maintaining a good security posture, it is vital that organisations provide quality training programmes for their employees.

It has been shown that annual 'security awareness training by PowerPoint' sessions do not work when consdering information and skill retention.  Organisations should adopt an ongoing programme encompassing both skill and knowledge aquisition, including ongoing assessments to ensure that the knowledge/skills are being adopted in practice.

In addition to partnering with leading education and awareness providers, we can work with your organisation to design and deliver a comprehensive training programme and combine with regular assessment (such as phishing/vishing assessments and social engineering audits).

To help organisations understand the threat from social engineering, multiple training courses in the area of ethical social engineering have been developed.  Each of these courses is directed toward different audience levels within an organisation.

Ethical Social Engineering - Foundation

This one-day course introduces the subject of social engineering and provides delegates with an overview of social engineering, common social engineering attack vectors, why people fall for social engineering-based attacks, and how to defend against these attacks.

To gain Foundation-level certification, delegates will be required to pass the associated exam. The cost for an initial exam attempt is included within the overall course cost.

Ethical Social Engineering - Intermediate

This course builds on the information provided in the foundation-level course. By the end of the course, delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of ethical social engineering principles and attack methodologies, an introduction to information-gathering techniques, and how to counter social-engineering-based attacks. Delegates will also undertake a practical information elicitation exercise.

To gain Intermediate-level certification, delegates will be required to pass the associated exam. The cost for an initial exam attempt is included within the overall course cost.

Ethical Social Engineering - Advanced

This course builds on both foundation and intermediate-level courses. It includes coverage of additional areas, such as information elicitation, behaviour profiling, non-verbal behaviours, framing within a social engineering context, information gathering-related activities, ethical engagement methodologies and the legal/ethical aspects of social engineering. By the end of this course, delegates will be able to demonstrate mastery of multiple elements within the social engineering arena.

To gain certification as a Certified Ethical Social Engineering Professional, delegates will be required to pass the associated exam and separate online assessment. The cost for online assessment and separate initial exam attempt is included within the overall course cost.
